We’re pleased to announce that the new Job Seeking Skills tool is now live on Planit!
It is designed to be flexible and easy to use, for both young people completing it and those delivering it as part of a lesson or training session.
The tool contains four parts, each with a number of modules. All aspects of job seeking are covered, from where to look for work, applying for jobs and attending interviews, through to starting work. Most modules have activities, designed to help young people develop the key knowledge and skills required to look for work and handle the recruitment process confidently. These can be completed online or downloaded.
There are also useful training notes for each module, outlining aims, success criteria and career management skills.
