Are you getting the most from Planit?
The team are currently working in collaboration with Colin Black from Carjon-NRJ, Andrew Ritchie from DYW Aberdeenshire Council, SPE Aberdeen and OEUK and its member employers to develop a new Offshore Energy section in Planit. The aim is to promote the diverse range of careers in this industry and identify pathways into each career.
Thanks to valuable customer feedback, one of our goals for this academic year was to improve the My Values tool in the Portfolio.
Our website Planit continues to be a popular careers and learning information resource with around 600,000 users in 2024.
We are pleased to share our new Work Placement Employer Guide! We understand that employers are busy and don’t have a lot of spare time. In conjunction with the launch of the Employer Section on Workit, we felt it was important to provide a user friendly guide for employers that has everything they need to deliver a successful work placement programme.
We are now beginning preparations for young people going out on work placements in the new session August 25 to July 26. Our School Liaison Officers are in the process of scheduling meetings with all schools to discuss their specific requirements and gain an insight into plans for work placement programmes.
