We’re pleased to announce the launch of a new website to support businesses and organisations who currently participate in, or may be considering joining, the schools’ work placement programme.
Specifically for prospective or existing employers who provide work placements to any of the 24 local authorities who use Workit, the site covers everything they need to know and has a range of resources and tips to support them to deliver a high quality and successful placement to pupils.
Schools can direct employers to this site for comprehensive information about the work placement programme, but also benefit from seeing the employers perspective. It outlines schools’ responsibilities within the programme and identifies best practice which could be useful for benchmarking their own current practice.
