Be sure to visit our Job Seeking Skills section on Planit if you haven’t done so already - it’s had a bit of a revamp!

We have added 3 great new modules to further help young people in finding that perfect job, and in navigating their new journey in the world of work.

Part 3 now has a new module on how to prepare for ‘Interview Presentations’, while Part 4 has 2 new modules on ‘Volunteering’ to boost work experience, and ‘Self-employment and Entrepreneurship’ as an alternative avenue to traditional employment.

These new additions now make a total of 25 modules to work through, across the 5 parts of the Job Seeking Skills course.

Job Seeking Skills is a great resource for any young person entering the world of work, covering everything they need to know about job hunting and employment. This includes identifying skills, strengths and interests, methods used for searching and applying for jobs, through to the end goal of starting in their first job. It also includes bonus modules which help a young person to understand employment rights, pay, and behaviour in the workplace.
