Gateway have adopted the Scottish Government Diamond Design Model and aim to utilise the “lived experience” of all our customers to help inform the development of our products and services.
We want to hear positive work placement stories from young people and what matters to them. By sharing their stories they may inspire others to participate in a work placement or even encourage employers to offer an opportunity.
Who can share their story?
We would like to hear from young people who have completed or opted to participate in a work placement, we also want to hear from employers who have had a positive experience of offering young people the opportunity to work within their organisation.
What happens to my story?
We are working with a local arts and media project, Swamp, who will help us capture your story. SWAMP is a forward-thinking Community Development Trust, registered charity and SQA Approved Centre using accredited training, outreach, gardening, film, music, digital technologies and the creative arts to enable and empower social change. You can also opt to create your own video diary and record your work placement journey in real time.
Can I remain anonymous?
Yes, we welcome your feedback in written format.
